Third-Party AI Services

Important: To analyze your pet's photos, we use artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI. When you submit a photo for analysis:

What data is sent: Your pet's photo, along with basic information (species, breed, age, body location of concern)
Who receives it: OpenAI, Inc. (the company behind GPT-4 Vision)
How it's used: Solely to analyze the image and provide health insights
Data retention: OpenAI processes images in real-time and does not retain them for training purposes when used via their API

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with:

OpenAI: Pet photos and basic pet info for AI-powered analysis (see above)
Supabase: Cloud database and storage provider
RevenueCat: Subscription management (no personal photos shared)

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page or by contacting us. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
